Bridge Junior School Secures School Games Gold Again

We are delighted to announce that Bridge Junior School has once again achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2025–26 academic year.

The School Games Mark is a national award that recognises schools for their commitment to PE, physical activity and school sport. Achieving Gold reflects the wide range of opportunities we provide, both during the school day and through our free extra-curricular clubs and competitions.

The award recognises our work to help all children enjoy being active, including those who may be less confident or take part less often. It also celebrates our inclusive sporting offer, the positive experiences we create and the opportunities children have to use their voice and develop as sports leaders.

We are proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork and determination shown by our pupils. We would also like to thank our staff and sports coach, Kathryn Ward, for their continued commitment to helping children develop confidence, learn new skills and discover activities they enjoy.

Securing Gold again shows that physical activity and sport remain an important part of life at Bridge. We will continue to provide opportunities for every child to participate, achieve their personal best and build healthy habits for the future.
