HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND

This fund will be used to support vulnerable households needing support for food, energy, and water bills, including outstanding utilities debt, white goods, warm clothing and bedding.  

Our customer services team are now set up to accept Household Support Fund applications. There are two types of applications available for this scheme: 

• Residents can self-refer for food and utility support only, via the Household support fund website
• If a Leicester city resident requires further support such as help with utility debt, replacement of white goods (please note these could be re-used items), and to support housing costs where existing housing support/discretionary schemes do not meet this need, a professional referral can be made.  This would need to be directed through other council services.  Further details of these routes will be available shortly.
